Accessibility
This site is meant to work for everyone.
Concord Township is a local government. The public site is built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard in the U.S. Department of Justice rule for Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What that means here
- Pages use plain language, one main heading, and a skip link to the content.
- The menu, forms, fee guide, and records search work from a keyboard. Focus is visible.
- Text and buttons meet contrast requirements. Color is not the only way to tell something is selected.
- Pictures have text alternatives. Links that leave the site, or open a PDF, say so.
- Forms name every field, mark required fields, and explain what to fix.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for that.
Documents and other sites
Permit forms, minutes, ordinances, and the master plan are PDFs the township already published. A web page can meet the standard while a PDF does not. If a file will not read aloud, zoom, or work with your software, ask the clerk for another format — large print, a Word file, or someone to read the part you need.
The map on the contact page is provided by Google. The street address is written out on that page, so you do not need the map. Links to the village, the library, the schools, and the county leave this site. Those organizations run their own pages.
How to ask for help
Call, write, or stop in. Tell the clerk which page or document is the problem, what you were trying to do, and a format or time that works. There is no fee to request an accommodation.

Report a barrier
Describe the page or document and the format you need. This preview keeps the note on your device and does not file it with the clerk, so also call or email.
